THE CONFERENCE
The consumer credit reporting industry organised ten years ago in Rome its first world conference. The event evolved to acquire international reputation as an outstanding gathering where current issues faced by the industry are discussed and different approaches are shared among delegates from distinct credit cultures. Since such heterogeneity encompasses mostly regional differences, the World Consumer Credit Reporting Conference (WCCRC) has been also held in San Francisco (2000), Sydney (2002), Beijing (2004) and Cape Town (2006) in order to allow delegates from the corresponding regions to easier attend the WCCRC.
Serasa, an Experian Company, has been chosen to host the 6th WCCRC, to be held in Rio de Janeiro, from 19th to 21st of October, 2008, at the Sheraton Leblon Hotel. It runs the organisation of the Conference jointly with the European ACCIS – Association of Consumer Credit Information Suppliers and the American CDIA – Consumer Data Industry Association.
The WCCRC 2008 will bring to discussion various issues of global concern and tackle as well some regional developments. Thus, as consolidated through the previous conferences, the agenda will embrace subjects of interest for delegates from all over the world, allowing for a fecund exchange of experiences and views.
THE ATTENDANCE
The WCCRC 2008 is designed for all those active in the consumer credit reporting industry, such as credit bureau executives, credit information providers, executives from financial, retail and other users of credit information and decision analytics tools, as well as government and legislative representatives.
